.....and it's the last day of November already!
Time certainly seems to be going fast at the moment and I still have lots to do before I can even start to think about Christmas. Actually, that's not true (the bit about not thinking about Christmas!) as on Friday morning I joined Gill and Colin on a shopping trip to Tesco and bought quite a lot towards my Christmas dinner. Did I tell you before that I have 10 of us to serve dinner to that day? Gill will cook some of it at her house, my daughter-in-law has offered to prepare all the veg so it's not as bad as it sounds. To be honest, I'm really looking forward to it especially as I don't remember a thing about last year's Christmas Day!
The busy bit of the week was spent looking at the calendar proof and letting the fans whose photos had been chosen know before then telling the rest of the fan club members. I think it looks fabulous. Then there's still the job of putting On The Ball together as we want our 50th edition to be special. We're getting there with that one.
After a week of having a sore throat, just when I was going to bed at night (okay, I know I talk too much during the day!) I finally have a cold. Friday night I woke myself up with a tickly cough and blocked nose so it's lots of warm drinks during the day. Hopefully I'll shake it off nice and quick as we're planning another Hairspray trip later this week.
Okay, time to get showered, dressed, have breakfast, go round with the vacuum cleaner and finish reading through the first OTB proof, before I take Roy and my eldest son Robin to the local pub for their Sunday drink. I come home and then pick them up around 2pm. Afternoon rest and then it's roast dinner around 6pm. Nice relaxing day!
Love
Maureen
