Thankfully we managed to get the central heating sorted out last week and at not too much cost.  Turned out there was a blockage and once that had been cleared it all worked properly again thank goodness, especially as the weather has been so cold.  It was -7C here last night so I definitely appreciated having a nice warm house.

Happy New Year to anyone who's reading, hope your wishes for 2009 come true.  I gave up making New Year's Resolutions years ago and after the past year all I can wish for is that life continues to improve for me and my family over the coming months.

I can feel a Hairspray visit coming on next week as it seems ages since we were up there.  Colin and I went to see Sunset Boulevard at the Comedy Theatre at the weekend and really enjoyed it.  It was very different to the original grand production but nevertheless really well and simply staged.
