.....and that's the first week gone already!

What a cold start weather-wise with our outside temperature gauge going down as low as -7c (19f).  I'm not complaining.  Compared to what some of our overseas friends have been enduring this is just a bit uncomfortable.  Anyway, with a lovely fan club message on our infoline from Michael to listen to that certainly warms you up!

Went into our town centre yesterday, first for an appointment with the accountant - what fun, I don't think.  Then we popped into a new bargain shop called "Pound Plus Shop" which as you can guess is mostly £1 items.  Got a few bits and pieces hopefully cheaper than Tesco's!

In the afternoon I accompanied Roy as he went to the garage who are re-spraying his Morris Minor after all the renovation he's done to it.  He was hoping they would have the paint done by yesterday but they were in the middle of masking it up ready to do today.  So we will be back to have a look tomorrow.  He can't wait to get it back and start putting the final bits back on. 

Oh well, better go and check my clock as I'm just touching up my roots of my hair (don't tell me, you all thought that my colour was natural!).  Getting a cut and blow dry tomorrow. It's that time when you really don't want the doorbell to ring, even if you are waiting for something through the post...
