How can it possibly be October since we last updated our Blog?  All I can say is it's been a rather hectic 3 months for me, so that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

I've just been listening to Michael's Sunday Brunch and realised how much I'm gonig to miss having him on the radio every week.  I suppose we should be grateful that at least he'll be there every so often but Sunday mornings certainly won't be the same from now on.

When we saw Michael before Christmas at the Radio 2 studios he said there would be plenty of surprises coming up for 2010, so as well as the Hairspray tour it sounds like we will have another fun-filled year ahead of us.

It's 5 years today since our dear Dad departed from this world and it's hard to comprehend that it's been as long as that.  He was a great father and we still miss him but we know he's still around us in many ways.  I still have his hat hanging up in my hallway, I don't think that's clinging to the past, just something that's a little reminder every time I look up at it - makes me feel like he's still watching over me, which of course I know he is.
